Summary:

Lymm High School has population of 400 trees on the school grounds, with some specimen mature and veteran trees. We carry out their tree condition survey to help meet their duty of care. The school is located on Oughtrington Lane towards the eastern side of Lymm village in the Borough of Warrington, Cheshire. The date the school was founded is unknown, but the earliest known reference to the school is in a church document dated 1592.

We carried out a tree condition & safety survey and created a management plan specifically for Lymm High School to help meet the duty of care to make sure all the trees on and within the site are safe. It is the responsibility of the school to ensure this is implemented regardless of how many trees there are on the land.

The school has extensive grounds with a large tree population surrounding buildings, playgrounds, car parks, and many sports pitches.

The survey was undertaken to inspect trees for hazards, enabling you to make sound decisions to maintain a safe environment for staff, pupils, and parents.

Lymm High School was happy with the detailed survey and report, which provided an arboricultural management plan, to manage other large tree populations and reduce the risk from trees on their site. We now undertake this tree condition survey annually to help them keep trees on their school grounds safe for their visitors and their 2000 school pupils.
